The Tampa Repertory Theater continues its final season with the comedy “A Doll’s House, Part 2.”

Taking a humorous twist on the classic original, “A Doll’s House, Part 2” features a star-studded cast from Tampa Bay led by Florida native Lucas Hnath. Audiences will revisit the story of Nora, a wife and mother who left her family in Norway in 1879 in search of an untraditional life. Now Nora returns to those she left behind asking for an incredibly awkward favor and a chance at a fresh start.

The show, directed by Stephanie Gularte, former Production Artistic Director of American Stage in St. Petersburg and Capital Stage in Sacramento, opens at the Stageworks Theater in Tampa on Friday, November 4 with an open bar before the show and after- show mixing and mixing opportunities. “A Doll’s House, Part 2” will run through November 20, with screenings every Friday at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 3 and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 8 p.m.

Tickets to see “A Doll House, Part 2” at the Tampa Repertory Theater are on sale now and start at $11.

“The power of Hnath’s play lies in its success in forcing us to recognize how not all has changed in the last 150 years and in revealing new layers of complexity in the dynamics of gender relations, the freedom, privacy and marriage,” Gularte wrote in a press release.
