‘Russian Doll’ actor Charlie Barnett in talks to join Disney+’s ‘The Acolyte’ series

According to THR, Charlie Barnett (Russian doll) is in final negotiations to join the upcoming Star Wars Disney+ Original series “The Acolyte.” If the deal goes through, Barnett will reunite with the co-creator of Russian dollLeslye Headland, who directs, writes and produces the star wars series. Details of Barnett’s character have not been released, but sources say he is in a supporting role.


“The Acolyte” has been described as a female mystery action thriller, with martial arts elements that will take us into a galaxy of dark secrets and emerging dark side powers in the final days of the High Age era.
