Royal Family fans go wild for the Queen’s ‘extremely adorable’ knitted doll

Royal fans went wild for a collection of adorable knitted dolls of the Queen ahead of the highly anticipated Jubilee celebrations next month. Twitter users have started sharing their collections of cute knitted dolls, showcasing a range of colorful looks from the Queen, after a fan’s post got a lot of attention.

A Twitter user shared a cute snap of a knitted Queen doll wearing a matching green coat and hat, pearl necklace and her signature black handbag, and said, “A knitted Queen Elizabeth II.” The post received many responses from fans sharing their own dolls and nearly 10,000 likes.

The popular post led royal fans to share a number of photos of their own knitted dolls. Others shared their love for the cute items, with one saying, “OMG!!! I want one!!!! Ladies, did you knit or buy these?”

Another fan tweeted: “OMG!! These knitted queens are amazing!! Could someone knit one for me?? Absolutely [love] them! Ready to £££ for charity.” A third similarly said: “I need one so cute.” Many royal fans shared their own knitted dolls, like one from the Queen mourning her late husband, Prince Philip, and another from the Queen at Balmoral.

In the comments, a user replied to tell royal fans where fans can buy the instructions to make their own, the Express reports. They shared a special knit of the Queen wearing a yellow coat and matching hat, also carrying her favorite black bag. A step-by-step guide on how to make the Platinum Jubilee Commemorative Toy was available from ‘Knitting by Post’ for £3.99.

On February 6 this year, the Queen became the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service. The Queen will celebrate her Jubilee with a special extended bank holiday weekend in early June.

The four days of celebrations will include public events and community activities, as well as national moments of reflection on the Queen’s 70 years of service. Events will include the Queen’s Birthday Parade on Thursday June 2 and a Service of Thanksgiving on Friday June 3.
