Jordan Davis treats his Philadelphia Eagles teammate like a rag doll in open practice

Jordan Davis didn’t miss a beat in the weight room if this drill during a Philadelphia Eagles open practice is any indication.

An Eagles fan posted a video on social media showing Davis fending off a teammate, Cameron Jurgens, with an ease that seemed like a blocking sled or a high schooler. For perspective, Jurgens is listed at 6-foot-3 and 303 pounds.

At 6-foot-6, 340 pounds, Davis was selected No. 13 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, and he looks to be having a big rookie season ahead of the Eagles.

Last season at Georgia, Davis racked up 32 tackles, including 5 tackles for a loss. He also won the Outland Trophy for best interior defensive lineman in college football, according to the Football Writers of America.

In his 4 years at Georgia playing 41 games, Davis made 90 tackles, including 11.5 for a loss and 7 sacks.

Davis continues his remarkable career, having been a first 3 star basketball prospect from Charlotte, North Carolina. As a high school freshman, he was the nation’s 29th overall defensive tackle and North Carolina State’s 15th overall prospect for the Class of 2018, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
