‘Drag Race France’: Nicky Doll will be the host, Daphné Bürki and Kiddy Smile will be part of the jury

Hello, queens! Drag Race Francethe latest international spin-off from RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise, its panel announced.

French drag queen and RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12 star Nicky Doll will be the host, joined by resident judges, TV presenter Daphne Bürki and French queer musician/icon Kiddy Smile.

As the official description says, “The trio will guide the dazzling French queens each week through a variety of gag-worthy challenges and track categories. Based on their performance in each episode, the judges will choose who will win and which will have to lip sync for their lives to stay in the competition, for a chance to become France’s first drag superstar.

The doll becomes the second RuPaul’s Drag Race alum to host an international franchise, after Season 11’s Brooke Lynn Heights which hosts Canadian Drag Race. To note, Drag Race Holland season 1 winner guest judged episodes of Drag Race Holland and Drag Race Spain.

In a statement received by S&A, Doll said: “I am honored and delighted to be the emcee of this iconic show, which will revolutionize French drag and showcase incredible queer artists! So start your engines, and may the best drag queen… win!”

Drag Race France will air on WOW Presents Press in the United States and select territories around the world, day and date with its local airing in France.

A premiere date has yet to be announced.
