Bollywood singer, Kanika Kapoor rose to fame with her hit song, Doll in the movie, Ragini MMS. She is the voice behind the hit songs, which are still loved by many across the country. However, her personal life has been a roller coaster ride. She had a difficult married life and raised her children as a single mother. However, the beauty will soon embrace the new phase of her life as she is set to wed for the second time.
For the uninitiated, Kanika had married an NRI, Raj Chandok, when she was 18 years old. She is the mother of three children, Aayana, Samara and Yuvraaj. In 2015, Kanika divorced her husband, Raj, after catching him cheating. However, the divorce was the start of Kanika’s happy time as she gained immense popularity in the Tinseltown with her hit acts.

Recently, in an interview with The Times Of India, Kanika talked about her upcoming marriage to an NRI-based businessman, Gautam. Although she hasn’t officially accepted their relationship, she has spoken about the importance of love. She says:
“We are all looking for love. Love is important, not just from your boyfriend and your husband, but also from all your loved ones.”
Kanika then opened up about her failed first marriage. She said she didn’t believe in telling the story of her failed marriage and moving on. Kanika also shared that after her divorce, she had to go out to work for her children. She shared:
“My parents told me not to wonder who was right and who was wrong and that helped me move on. Financial independence gives you self-respect and I needed that. It wasn’t easy at first, but everything settled in nicely.”

Kanika once shared that she was just a normal person housewife and it’s inspiring to see her become such a big sensation. In an interview with Talking Music on JioSaavn, Kanika revealed her struggles to get the name she has now. She revealed that when she got married, her in-laws made it clear that they didn’t want her to sing. However, she had persuaded her then-husband and made a deal with him that she would not take up singing as a profession, but would simply practice it for herself.
Well, Kanika is a perfect example of how not to give up on love.
