During an appearance on the Podcast HighlightsBanks recently expressed his frustrations at not getting a Minaj feature despite several attempts.

Referring to an online exchange involving rapper Baby Tate, Banks said: “[Tate] who tweeted and she said, ‘I need someone to come up on the remix of my song.’ And a fan said to me, ‘Why don’t you put Nicki Minaj on the song?’ »

“And she was like, ‘I love Nicki. But I just feel like I’ve been trying to get to her for a long time. I just feel like she’s kinda ignoring me and I have the feel like she’s entertaining girls who can’t even rap,” Banks said.

She then added, “I commented and said, ‘I agree.’ really do. Now some people might get mad at me for saying that, but it’s the truth. Not everyone can rap.

At the time, Asian Doll hit back at both Tate and Banks, saying that Minaj would collaborate with her sooner than with them.

But after people started comparing Banks’ comments to Asian Doll’s apparent shade to Minaj, the rapper has now stepped in to clear the air.

“Ayo don’t talk about me including me, my name and whatever I randomly built up getting involved in the next bitch situation she looked stupid as shit we , nuns, let’s keep that shit out there. I don’t agree or respect the shit she said so side by side pics don’t give goodbye at all,” she said on Twitter.

Although Minaj herself hasn’t addressed the feud, she said in a February interview that she doesn’t work with artists who dislike her.

“So as an artist and a human being first, if I, as a regular human, was about to go out to dinner with you tonight and then I get something that says, ‘ Yo, she don’t really fuck with you like that, she was saying that and she doesn’t really like you, and she said she hopes you never break out or blossom ‘… I’m not going to have dinner with you anymore because now I know that I like you, but you don’t really like me. Minaj said on The morning bustle.

“It’s just a human way to feel, if you hear someone say things about you – not just one thing – but repeated things, repeated tweets for years, not just one thing,” Minaj said. at the time.
