Adamari López received her own Barbie-inspired doll

Adamari Lopez has always been a source of inspiration. The famous host has had an incredible career and has overcome many obstacles throughout her life. López’s wit and smile captivate viewers every morning, and a Colombian artist was so inspired she created a Barbie-inspired doll that looks just like the Puerto Rican.

Shirly Cabrera is a talented artist dedicated to the creation of figures and miniature works. The artist modifies generic dolls to model the physical silhouette and the characteristic features of the one she reproduces. López was on the Miss Universe jury last December, the day Cabrera used her reference to create her doll. The adorable doll has fabulous big hair, green eyes and a black dress that looks like López’s.

Cabrera said López has always been an inspiration. “I’ve always admired her, she’s an inspiring character,” said the Colombian artist while creating the miniature version of Ada. “She’s a very exotic, very pretty woman who gets a lot of attention,” she continued.

It took her two months to complete the doll and it was packaged in a pink box. He then traveled from Colombia to Miami and was introduced to the actress on her hit show Hoy Dia.

A happy Adamari

López looked grateful to have the doll and was excited to show off her youngest daughter Alaïa. “Shirly, what an honor! Thank you for making this possible. I didn’t expect it, but I loved my Barbie and I’m sure my daughter will too,” she said as she showed her doll to the world.

The young artist made dolls of other celebrities like Karol G, Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jennerand the late artist Frida Kahlo. She also prepares miniature desserts in a fully functional small kitchen and sets up fun scenes with dolls and fast food.
